Which brings us to April 2016. Jacob, with the support of his now wife Laura, started down a path of weight management through behavior modification. Over the next 20 weeks, Jacob would lose 107lbs.
He’s kept the weight off, ran 3 half marathons, and stays active with his family.
He attributes his long-term success to 2 key tactics. “I kept the ideas and people most important to me at the center of my mission and I did the little things they told me to every single day.”
That’s the same mentality he brings to his clients.
“I want my clients to see I know what it’s like to be fearful of the future. To feel like you have little control over where the day-to-day is taking you. When you add in a planner who takes the time to learn what you want out of life, and in turn finds solutions to help fit your specific story, we may find lifelong success in holding to a few simple, yet important, tactics.”
“I want my clients feeling my energy and excitement for their dreams. I’m like the mom who takes a million pictures of their child for the first day of each school year. I’ll love on you to the point of embarrassment.”
Jacob graduated in 2013 from Purdue University with a B.S. in Management. He lives in Columbus with his wife, Laura, 5-year-old son, Bo and their Newfoundland, Tonks, named after the Harry Potter character. He regularly serves on boards in the community and loves coaching youth football.
